Joti Nirvair Kaur (Claudia) is originally from Mexico, where she studied modern dance and video production. In the year 2000, she moved to Phoenix, AZ, along with her new family made up of her husband and her 6-month-old son. She left behind her extended family, friends, city, and everything she had known.
For almost 17 years she lived with a sense of disconnection between herself and her surroundings, and felt like she had given up part of herself when she moved to a new country.
In Phoenix, she graduated with a degree in massage therapy, which she was able to put to use in service of her passion for helping others and her interest in learning about the human body. Although her feelings of emptiness and detachment continued, it wasn’t until she attended her first Kundalini Yoga class that she felt a sense of rediscovery, which was a little uncomfortable at first, but by the end of the class she felt less anxiety and more at peace with herself. And this experience awoke in her a curiosity to experience more about this technology called Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. In 2018, she enrolled in a training program to be a teacher of Kundalini Yoga.
She is passionate about sharing the benefits of Kundalini Yoga with those who are experiencing depression, anxiety, loneliness, addiction, or stress. And it is this passion and generosity that inspire her to continue learning and gaining experience through this wonderful technology called Kundalini Yoga!

In this class you will focus on breath (pranayama), physical movement (asana), chanting (mantra) and meditation.
Kundalini Yoga is the pathway to a happy and healthy life through balancing the blood and brain chemistry, and creating a flow of feel-good hormones in the body. Meditation brings us to state of peace by connecting to the divine within.
